Advanced Pool Heating is a clean energy and environmental technology contractor serving Florida homeowners. While the bulk of our business is swimming pool heating, today the company sells, installs and services a wide range of products that lower energy costs, clean and purify air and water, and improve health. The common thread across all of our product lines is improving our customers’ quality of life while lowering their energy costs.

Solar energy systems for pool heating and home hot water heating are the core of our green product offerings. Solar energy is clean, free and inexhaustible. And frankly, it’s crazy for Floridians not to take advantage of all the sunshine we have available. Today, a solar pool heater can pay for itself with savings—compared to propane gas—in just one to two heating seasons. And electric water heating is flat-out wasteful—accounting for about one third of the average Florida family’s annual electric bill.

Experienced Leadership

Advanced Pool Heating was founded by and continues under the leadership of CEO Shane Ackerman. Shane has enjoyed a career in the environmental technology and solar energy industries spanning over two decades.

“I’ve been doing this for a long time,” he says, adding, “and it’s really gratifying now to see consumer interest in green technologies reaching a tipping point. I think we’re in a great position to help Florida homeowners make this shift, and I’m excited about the future.”

Before founding Advanced Pool Heating, Shane served during the 1990s as Vice President of Sales for the world’s largest swimming pool heating contractor. His previous experience includes ownership of a clean water technology company.

Shane believes Advanced Pool Heating’s job every day is to “Wow the customer…” to exceed customer expectations by such a degree that customers will enthusiastically rave about the company to anyone and everyone they come into contact with. And if the company’s rapidly growing customer base is any indication, the job is getting done.
